Connecting Markets. Building Partnerships. Creating Shared Prosperity.
Welcome to the Africa-China SMME Forum™, a premier platform dedicated to strengthening commercial partnerships, expanding market access, and accelerating sustainable economic growth between Africa and China.
As global trade continues to evolve, there has never been a more important time to build practical pathways that enable small, micro and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) to participate meaningfully in international markets. The Africa-China SMME Forum™ exists to transform opportunity into action by connecting entrepreneurs, investors, governments, development finance institutions, corporates and industry leaders through a platform focused on measurable commercial outcomes.
Our vision is simple yet ambitious: to become the leading Africa-China platform for enterprise growth, industrial collaboration, investment facilitation and cross-border trade.
Unlike traditional conferences, the Africa-China SMME Forum™ is designed as an execution-focused ecosystem. It brings together the people, institutions, expertise and networks required to move businesses beyond conversations and into partnerships, transactions, innovation and long-term growth.
Through strategic dialogue, curated business matchmaking, knowledge exchange, market-entry support, investment facilitation and industrial collaboration, we seek to unlock new opportunities for African enterprises entering China, while creating meaningful pathways for Chinese businesses seeking to invest, manufacture and expand across the African continent.
The Forum embraces a philosophy of mutual value creation.
Africa offers entrepreneurial energy, innovation, abundant resources and one of the world's fastest-growing consumer markets. China contributes industrial capability, technological advancement, manufacturing expertise and global market reach. Together, these complementary strengths create extraordinary opportunities for inclusive and sustainable economic development.
As Chairperson, I warmly invite governments, business leaders, investors, development partners, entrepreneurs, academic institutions and industry organisations to join us in shaping a future defined by collaboration rather than competition, partnership rather than isolation, and shared prosperity rather than individual success.
Together, we can build stronger enterprises, deeper commercial relationships, resilient value chains and a lasting legacy of economic cooperation between Africa and China.
Thank you for visiting our platform.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Africa-China SMME Forum™.
Warm regards,
Dr Pumela Salela (MBA, PhD)
